The Société de Développement Commercial (SDC) rue Notre-Dame à Lachine is a non-profit organization focused on the economic development and promotion of this central artery in the Lachine borough.
Our vision is to make Notre-Dame Street in Lachine a vibrant place where residents, visitors, and business owners come together in a welcoming, dynamic, and sustainable environment that proudly reflects our history and identity. The major events held on our street are another great example of what sets us apart and showcases all that we offer — together — to the community.

Executive Director
The team leader, Virginie loves challenges and has been in her role since 2021, working to revitalize Notre-Dame Street. Always ready to launch new ideas, she’s valued for her creativity and energy.
Valérie
Social Media Manager
A wordsmith and brand content strategist. As the undisputed queen of social media, she masterfully blends creativity, sharp storytelling, and an irresistible sense of humor.
Steve
Events Coordinator
Steve is the team’s Swiss Army knife — always ready to help. Beyond planning and coordinating events, he handles all the little tasks and manages daily surprises with ease, keeping everything running smoothly.

Their role? To set the big-picture direction — they debate, advise, challenge, and sometimes save the day with a brilliant idea out of nowhere. Always seeking the right balance between caution and innovation, they guide the leadership in executing the action plan.
